And a cap of the original ‘Austrian’ type concerned. Rifle regiment caps are two a penny by comparison, these are exceeedingly rare. This one is from the Prince of Wales’s Volunteers (South Lancashire Regiment).

I'm afraid that I've seen one of the boss badges Toby has shown, a couple of times lately, the first time, one of our members had bought one for £5, and the second time it looks as if someone had paid £65 for another one from a dealers website that I visit.
Sadly, as our member discovered it's not actually a boss badge, it's the bottom part of one of the badges attached, I wonder what the chances are of finding a top piece to go with them. Last edited by thursdaychris; 24-11-22 at 06:51 PM. |

I've found an example of the complete set, apparently there's a bottom piece as well, it's described as
