Hi GriffMJ,i have tinkered with the light on two photos to try and lighten the badge. Im afraid the focus on my phone is the best I can do. Hope they are ok.

....sadly its the jelly mould fake. Note the ground edges.

Thank you Griff for your knowledge, this must be the the fourth fake 17th Lancers that I have had. I really struggle to tell a good from a bad with this badge. It was in with a job lot from auction.
