Default ID Please Mil. Provost Staff Corps ??

Badge seems identical to Military Provost Staff Corps but no crown and I cannot see any evidence of damage or where the crown might have been attached, Size approx. 30 x 40 mm

Funny there is a thread today about civilians PWD WW2 cap badge, in it Postwarden mentions the uncrowned cypher badge worn by Garrison Staff.
Cheers

Recruiting SNCOs also springs from the back of my mind.

Bosleys sold one a few years ago.
