One for the London experts
Yesterday evening I was have a.browse through K&K vol 2. In the notes in the London section. It talked about the 12th London ( The Rangers)transferring from the KRRC to the Rifle Brigade.
In the badge notes,it mentions an Officers badge with Rifle Brigade around the circlet in the centre but there is nothing regarding an ORs badge. Was the old blackened ORs badge with KRRC in the centre retained or does one exist for the ORs with Rifle Brigade ? |

According to Gaylor (I know!, I know!) the 1937 pattern other ranks cap badge continued in use until 1956 when the Rangers merged with the LRB.

The 37 pattern cap badge I take,is the one with battle honours on all four arms of the cross rather than just the top arm ?

It's the one with King's Royal Rifle Corps on the circle and no tablet below the crown.
