Is this a fair summary of the above as I have recently been thinking about this (see thumbnail).

Don't think there were mailed fist QC bronze collars?
There is also the Hallmarked silver KC mailed fist cap badges.
And OR's QC collar badges anodised, I don't think there were WM ones, I'll happily stand corrected on that one though

Hi Chris,
Like your list, I’m a great fan of summary lists like this.
Strange as it may seem, the first pattern under officers should read brass following that ACI, effectively there was no 1st pattern authorised for officers. Plastic is the best term to use for the economy badges, they weren’t made from Bakelite, I can’t recall the exact plastic type they were made from.

Hi Chris, There are 2 versions of the plastic (Cellulose Acetate) cap badge, Silver/Grey and Gold, both maker marked A Stanley & son Walsall.

Officers Cap badge K/C Silver Plated (P)
Officers Cap badge K/C Hallmarked JRG&S 1941

OR's Shoulder title RAC joined bottom only Gilding metal

from memory Q/C w/m collars were worn by Band only
regards John

Hello again
Are you including the bullion QC one discussed earlier in your thread?
And what about the cloth and printed titles?

Chris

A super collection, thank you for sharing.
Just a minor thing, but the collar badges are worn tanks driving towards eachother.
Great display!

Thanks,

I originally thought that and then changed my mind. Also, looking for bronze 1st pattern RAC.

Very impressive display Chris. Well done.

Do you have one of these?

Was very pleased to land it recently, you quite often see Smith & Wright made examples but very few are actually marked.

The forum Illuminati might try burn it at the stake chanting fake because of the mark
