Default A tale of three badges

Around the middle of May I bought two badges on ebay, badge1 and Badge2.

But unfortunately the seller made a mistake and sent me badge1 and badge3.

I contacted him immediatly and he asked me to return badge3 which I did, he ackwnoledged its safe return but told me buyer2 wasn't replying to his messages. Some time later he got a reply and said buyer2 was going to send badge2 directly to me, but here we are much later and no badge.

A sad tale.

Hmmm, Sorry to hear it Rob! A real bummer!!! Hope it eventually works out.

I had a buy once where I was shipped he wrong badge, but the seller never replied so I was "stuck" with it. Actually, the wrong one was on my want list, but a bit pricey for me, and was well over the cost of the badge I bought... So, I was quite happy and of course the original badge is not uncommon, so I've since gotten it as well. I like to do the right thing and would have returned the more expensive badge had the seller ever replied. But I know they seldom turn out like that.

Good luck!!!

Terry

I had a similar experience four years ago Rob,
https://www.britishbadgeforum.com/fo...ad.php?t=74578

It actually all worked out in the end and reminded me there are still good people out there. Took over a month in the end.

Hopefully the outcome is the same for yourself and you get your badge shortly.

Thank you for the replies, hopefully it will work out in the end, I wonder if either of the other two parties are members of this forum?

Badge two has now arrived safely, hooray.

One little mistake can make such a mess, the winners must be the post office who ended up with 5 transations rather than two.
