Default NIH

Hi

As far as I am aware there are only three types of Queens Crown NIH arm badges.

1.White metal (official)
2.Anodised aluminium (official)
3.Brass (locally made)

See attachment which part of my collection.
Never seen or heard of a bronze version before so I assume it's a brass one painted over.

If it's for sale please PM me.

Regards
Bob

Not a brass painted as you can see bits of white showing - if painted then white metal

I agree with David.

I’m afraid the 2 brass badges flanking your central display Bob are fakes.

These are often marketed as NIH ‘beret badges’ but they are not. They are sadly just another Martin Marsh catalogue fake/fantasy item and Keith Hook has confirmed the NIH wore no such smaller beret badge and these are totally spurious.
