What an enormous viewing this thread has had - Andy tell him he is more popular and important than loops and sliders and we look forward to having him back soon!

Just stumbled on to this. I think the concensus of replies are of the 'Get Well' soon genre so, Dave, act accordingly!! Regards Terry

Having not been on the forum much lately, I was shocked to hear the news earlier when Kath rang me. As with everybody else here, my thoughts and best wishes with Dave, Kath and the rest of the family. I'm assured he is in good hands and will be on the mend soon.

John

Hi lads,
I tried to send a message last night but the connection went as I was finishing it off, it's quite difficult writing on these TV screens when you're lying on your back !
Anyway, you are without a doubt, the greatest bunch of men I have ever met, my daughter Jayne printed off about 90 of your messages and they proved to be a source of inspiration and comfort to me, I have read them more times than is actually healthy for me, I am a big softie really ! I can remember crying while watching SHANE......
I have to be short, tiring already ! I'm having an ICD fitted, hopefully tomorrow and I should be home on Friday.
One last point for this message and that is the tremendous pride I now feel when reading Andy's post leader, I am not worthy of the expression " man down ", taken in it's true sense, I am mearly another bloke, so for Andy to use it, I find a lump in my throat every time I read it.
Thanks for that Andy, you have made me a proud man as have all the concern shown by everyone, I have to go, I'm spent ? but I will be back, love you all, in a manly way of course.
Dave,

Welcome back to the fold Dave, very glad to read that you are well and truly on the recovery road.

I have increased the font size so you do not strain anything.

All the best
