Army Air Corps photo help, please
Not my area of collecting, so looking to sell this cracking, little 8cm x 6cm photo at some point, but I wonder if members might be able to expand on the insignia depicted, please?
AAC cap badge; Pegasus flash, 'something Regt' cloth, shoulder title, and brevet over left breast pocket. Comments appreciated. (NOW SOLD) With thanks: Last edited by Jelly Terror; 21-05-16 at 09:46 AM. |

As for the title on his shoulder......I would venture...Glider Pilot Regt.

The wings on his breast pocket are for a second pilot. So, I would agree, Glider Pilot Regiment. The shoulder title would be light blue with dark blue lettering.

Thank you, David.
What's the difference (if any) between brevets and wings? |

Can anyone tell me please, if the letter within the circle a 'C' or a 'G'? It looks like a 'G', in David's link:

All very colourful indeed, walking around in that battle dress would certainly get the wearer noticed!

Tie and open collar suggests photo was taken in 1945 or later.
