Default Unidentified Shoulder title hlp?

Dear Forum

Amy ideas?

Has some age I would say closer to 1900 than 1940 for example.

Thank you in advance for your help

Paul

I was thinking this may be to do with RAMC but don't know why....School of Military Mapping?
The curve of the title indicates it the upper part of a multi-part title?

It appears to me that a 4th letter has been carefully removed from the end?

The SMM title on Andy Plewa`s Sell My Militaria pages was a picture of a title I used to own and I provided the picture of it to Andy, I may still have it (the title ) but cant find it at the moment.

I am 99% sure it was whole and not shortened and I have no idea what the letters stand for.

P.B.
