Default Dodgy Special Forces cloth titles?

Hi

Can you have a look at these please, probably all fake but just checking.

The Light Tank Squadron has the tell tale spaghetti back and a fair bit of mothing.
Commando red/navy looks a bit better.
3 Commando I have had for years and thought it was good till i recently looked at the back.

Cheers
Sean

Thanks Tim, I have the one you show and I think in a previous thread you and others pointed out to me that this was a Royal Navy item. The one i have pictured I thought was purporting to be a WW2 commando title.
Maybe someone could comment?
Cheers

The top one is a common fake originating from the sub-continent, with the horrible, thin embroidery. The modern Commando also exists in subdued patterns in black on sand and black on olive - anyone claiming it as WW2 is in error or intending to deceive.

...and in white on navy (Royal Navy Commando) for woolly pullys & 4AWD - there are two versions that I'm aware of a non-merrowed one that has been around since the 1970s and a much newer merrowed version for 4AWD.

The issued desert/MTP version is actually with brown thread, not black BTW.
