Default Liverpool Pals, a real Sweeheart!

Hi All and a Merry Christmas and New Year too you all! !

Found on Ebay and could see it has had a misshap in the past (probably offended someone in Royalty and had a bloke handy with an Axe?) But! could it not be repaired I thought?

Maybe not!!! as when it arrived, it really was a sweetheart and not the actual issue badge converted to one, didn't know they actually had one till now which considering, is rather stupid of me! But had never seen one before so! maybe you haven't as well.

Thought I could get a Jeweler to takeca wax mould of an existing badfe and reattach??? Any History on it would be appreciated all the best billy

Money went to Breast Cancer Research - so went to a good cause. Enjoy

Nice find Billy, it is the rare "headless chicken" variant. (K&K 10101001).

Merrry Christmas and good luck in getting it restored.

Simon.

The maker RC appears on quite a few Lpl Pals brooches.

After looking at my notes, RC is probably Robert Chandler.
I think most of his productions - all brooches but most are the same size as the Lpl Pals badges.
