Default Duntroon MC badge - how old?

This Duntroon MC badge is marked Perfect Plate Sydney to the reverse.

Is this badge very old?

Probably 1980s or 1990s or later.

I suspect it maybe an association badge.

Certainly not an issued item.

Its a lapel badge that was available to staff cadets attending RMC Duntroon. Certainly in use in the 1960's.

Cheers
Chris

Got any more info Chris?

Was it worn on civilian blazers as a lapel badge?

Default RMC lapel badge

The RMC lapel badges were an issued item - I was issued one in 1985 (pictured). These were worn with our "recreation dress" (RMC blazer) and as a lapel badge on a suit or jacket when in civvies.
