Hiya Loupie1961
In answer to your question above; No, Those titles were private purchase and unofficially made and worn "out" of barracks on the BD's.

regarding the curved AIRBORNE title, a WW2 period image would enhance the statement that operational RASC parachutists wore the title. in Oosterbeek in the mid-nineties there was a photographic exhibition of the units involved during the battle of Arnhem. from my notes, all RASC personnel parachute trained wore either the abbreviation R.A.S.C or the full ROYAL ARMY SERVICE CORPS title.

Another full Royal Army Service Corp arc title. They seem to be relatively frequent and cheap. Are there any reproductions around?

There is much debate about these. However, the pattern you post here is not an orginal badge in my opinion. The fact that an identical example has been available on ebay by the Flitter family has me even more convinced.
Attached is an example that I do believe to be original. |
