Default Crown-less QO Worcestershire Hussars yeomanry cap badge?

I would be grateful if anyone can shed light on whether a crown-less version of QOWH cap badge was worn during WW1 era?

Any insights welcome!

A curious question. No such cap badge to my knowledge exists. QOWH IY and TY headdress badges for the cap had a King’s Crown.

The QOWH cap badge crown area is rather delicate with many KCs breaking off. This is evident from number of broken badges encountered and ones with home repairs or replacement crowns.

I’d suggest if there are images of such a badge is wear it’s simply broken.

The only crownless badges I've seen have had the Crowns snapped off (eg a collar badge currently offered on ebay, albeit it isnt noted as being a damaged badge).

This is yet another badge that was produced and had no bracing with only a small area of contact between the laurels and the crown, my all brass badge which was given to me while at school had the crown missing, I have repaired it by adding on a crown, not an easy task without the original crown.
