Default Ranger Regiment RANGER patch

So you can see it in the video linked below and the image below captured from the same - looks like it is the same grey as the regiment’s berets with black thread for the lettering and border.

I’m guessing it is not a moral patch, as the soldier is representing the British Army at the DESi exhibition. So is it:

A qualification tab like the US Army ‘Ranger’ tab - although I wasn’t aware of a ‘ranger qualification course’ for those joining the UK Ranger Regiment?

A TRF - but I thought the regiment’s TRF was going to be that double daggers patch?
