Default Lt.Col.(Retd)Gordon Gray AKA 1st Tankie

Hello

I've just received the sad news that Gordon passed away this morning after a sudden illness.

He was a lovely chap, an absolute gentleman, and I feel sure he will be missed by those who knew him.

May he rest in peace.

Rob

That is indeed very sad news Gordon was instrumental in me getting some Liverpool Scottish material for my collection and he and his wife made me most welcome at their house when I went to see it.

I met Gordon on only a few occasions, and am very sorry to learn of his passing.

Sincere condolences to his family.

JT.

Default The passing of a true Gentleman

It is with deep regret that I have just found out that Gordon Gray has passed away, for those that did not know Gordon he was a big collector of Militaria and had a very large collection of Cavalry items, an absolute gem of a man who will be sadly missed.
R.I.P Gordon God Bless.

Hi Malcolm
Yes, it is terrible news. I think the lack of response to your post is because it has already been posted in the 'Off Topic' section.
Cheers,
Alex
