Default Royal Navy Wireless Operator..

I'm looking to find a patch for the above but I'm getting confused as to the correct one. My grandad was on HMS Petard during WW2 he joined the ship just after the famous Enigma code adventure.

What patch would he have had as we don't have any pictures of him in uniform.

Wireless Operators badge worn by an AB. Depending upon the uniform, Best to working, the worn in Gold Bullion on Blue, Red tread on Blue or Blue on white.

This one is a gold thread, worn by Canada or as I'm told sometimes made up to be worn, unofficially on RN ratings uniforms instead of Gold bullion which was in short supply during WW2

Cool thanks for that I think I'll get the blue on white and then a cap tally would be good as well.
