Default BOER WAR INSIGNIA

Sorting through some books I bought the other day and found these useful illustrations in a 1916 published book 'FAMOUS MEN & BATTLES OF THE BRITISH EMPIRE'

All Class C SAMIF, but, quite frankly, after the first half of 1901, much of the British Army, in particular, Mr Atkins out on the high veldt in the Northern Transvaal, looked not altogether dissimilar.
