1943 DATED RAMC B D BLOUSE
Hi Guys
I got this example to day was a bit surprised to see that it has a RAMC extended shevron at the base of the arm going around the wrist see pics the blosue is 1943 dated and i think would date from around late 44 any idears as to the meaning of the extra strip at the wrist ? cheers steve ps its only on one side belove the service sherons ! |

The trade stripe was also worn for any 2nd class trade in the RAMC. 1st Class trade was 2 stripes. Still worn today on service dress for Cpls and below.

Nice BD, is it foreign rather than British made? Any chance of posting pics of the label and/or ink stamps?
