Yes we are not finished with this surely?

Another suggestion [only] of post 1907 is that the one year lozenge was officially discarded, although it lingered.
Absence is no proof of course.

Thats makes the cap badge clearer, all the same KRRC style cross.

I recognise the PBP, of a series of 4 intertwined letters in WM within a black wreath surmounted by a crown.

Still think they are Middlesex RV/London Regiment c. 1908.

The pouch belt plate is the Buckinghamshire rifle volunteer corps - they appear to be wearing the TF cap badge from the close up images

The CSRV (Civil Service) is the only Middlesex/London PBP with lettering from the period in question and it's the wrong shape, POW feathers would be the headress badge also.

I think Buckinghamshire makes a lot of sense.
