2G Gurkhas or Gloucesters ?
This is something of a curio - it came with a lot of other 2nd Gurkha insigna but I've never seen another one or anything similar for any Gurkha regiment - so I'm thinking it might be 2nd Gloucesters ? Or something else entirely ? It doesn't look as if its ever been worn so could be a fantasy piece - opinions welcome. Tim

2nd Gurkhas. Became 2GR (2nd Gurkha Rifles) at some stage. Post WW2 I think.

The 2nd bore 'Rifles' as part of their main title from 1901 onwards - see lineage link below In WWI they wore a brass '2G' shoulder title but I'm fairly sure by the cloth title period, WWII and after, they would have used '2GR' as an identifier.
