A friend has asked me to identify the button shown here. It is unknown to me. Can some one please tell me what it is.

Member Pukman posted a similar button today. Could these have belonged to an early NZ railway company?

Thank you for your reply. There certainly was a lot of railway activity in Canterbury NZ. Perhaps Canterbury Railways.
