Default Question On OSD's

Hi,

Looking for confirmation that the Worcestershire Regt wore the bronze service dress badge as per the post 1923 pattern badge. Assuming they did, would anyone have a spare one for sale?

Secondly when did the Herefordshire Regt change from the coat of arms on their OSD to the lion?

Thanks
Andy

OK, I have managed to determine the OSD does exist as a post 1923 badge.

If anyone has a spare please let me know. I am prepared to pay a fair price for it.

Can anyone assist on the Herefordshire OSD information?

Thanks
Andy

Hi Andy

As I understand it, the coat of arms badge for OSD of the Herefordshire Regiment was worn from 1908 until 1918.

I have checked the website of the regimental museum and you can find reference to it here: http://herefordshirelightinfantrymus...php/history-5/

Best regards

Here's mine, not a common badge and probably pre WW2.

I have one or two photos with Herefords officers during 1937-39, but by then they had switched to the lion cap and collar badges.
