Scottish Artillery badge ?
Hi folks

Sean, it might have been for 7th Medium Regiment (3rd Transvaal Scottish) during the 1950s although they usually wore a diamond shaped Murray tartan patch. Perhaps it was the later reincarnation of the regiment.

Part of the Liverpool Scottish as artillery wore an RA collar badge on a piece of Forbes tartan on the TOS but not I think with the red backing to the collar and I dont think this is Forbes tartan.

Don't think it's 7 Medium Regt Transvaal Scottish as their tartan has a Red Cross going through it, looks darker than Forbes tartan, maybe Government tartan. I will post better pictures when it arrives as it seems quite an attractive arrangement.
