Default Unknown HMS Excellent Brass "Cap Badge"

Does anyone have any idea what this item is please ? Has all the features of a cap badge including two lugs (North and South) to the rear. I know that HMS Excellent was a Gunnery School but have no further idea what this might be.

Please be aware that this item will be offered for sale once identified.

Thanks in advance

Paul

Default HMS Excellent

Paul, you have read the threads hopefully, no evidence of where it was worn for definite, so make your mind up . . !

A gunnery school gun team badge, possibly worn by Petty Officers?

A gunnery school gun team instructors badge?

Whatever, a cracking badge and 100% real, a belter . . !

Regards Rob

Paul, please PM to let me know what you are looking to get for the badge.

Cheers,

Now I have a problem! Five forum members have expressed an interest in this badge and I don’t even have any idea as to what is a fair price !

Sealed bids contravene the requirements of the "sticky" re. pricing in the Classifieds.

I'd agree - evil bay.

Spin the bottle? Settled most things at school.

In all seriousness I think if you come to a fair price offer it to whoever was first in line and take it from there.

Rob has one, perhaps ask what he paid if he doesn’t mind saying in private.

As Simon says "put it on ebay and let the forum members know about it.

A rare badge in excellent condition.

Taking your clothes off solved things?
Or does your version of spin the bottle have different rules?
Ah, you said at school - I was thinking of waaay past my (boys school) school days.
