Default Just for fun !

Ever thought about the logic of amalgamations ? inevitable certainly and unfortunately.

Would it have made more sense to amalgamate the Dragoons of the Union brigade together, instead of with the other Dragoon Guard Regiments ?

I got to thinking about this. I just also happened to have a Scots DG beret (for another silly reason). So how would a combined Dragoons regiment look ?

I'm thinking the beret as my picture. The Napoleonic Eagle being an obvious choice. Believe the Royal's as well as the Greys had the black backing. Didnt think the Inniskilling primrose looked very good on it. The bronze badge looking good on the grey beret.

Inniskilling collar badges with Waterloo scroll. Lion and crown buttons within a wreath of thistles.

RSDG N01 hat with primrose Vandyke. Yellow metal eagle and silver wreath. RD.

Royals stable belt with grey strip instead of the red and primrose stripes instead of yellow. A RSDG stable belt would have also worked

All product of an overactive mind........and just for fun !
