I had considered my Northants a possible officer badge, but for what form of dress? Could never decide whether it is that or a fancy OR.

PS, just came to mind that this badge is indeed an officer worn on the blue patrol dress visored cap.

Yes, I have a similar one, also with the bent-over pins to secure the scroll, but with a JR Gaunt London maker mark.
