Default ISAF Patch

I have seen this circular patch in a khaki color, an olive color and a camo.

Also in a rectangular shape with a black background with white lettering, and on two different camo type fields. I believe these are US versions and the British versions are round?

Are they all of the same time period or different?

Thank you,

Terry

Hi...I can add a tiny bit to this one following a recent piece of research.....the Icelandic Crisis Response Unit (tiny.....in Norwegian camo...don’t ask...) wore round green ISAF patches......for what it’s worth.....

Terry, I cannot help with your question but here is my group of ISAF patches.
I cannot confirm if some of these were worn or just for the collector market.

Hi Terry

ISAF patches were worn in Afghanistan from2001-2014.

This was led by NATO which eventually saw the Americans and non NATO allies joined.

The round (I call them roundles not sure of NATO term) patches are typically NATO Countries and the rectangle are US Forces which are called Brasards.

To simplify the Afghan Farsi dialect the last 3 letters that look like SOS is Pashto and the other is Dari (last two letters look like SS).

The English Translation is Help and Cooperation.

The Kiwi ISAF was used from 2007/2008 onwards.
