22 (Western) Corps Formation Sign
Browsing through Howard Cole's Badges on battledress it struck me that post-war FS had been approved for 21 (Northern) Corps, and 23 (Southern) Corps, but I know of no FS having been approved for 22 (Western) Corps.
So what FS was worn by Corps Troops attached to 22 Corps? Stephen.

The planned 22nd Corps in Western Command was never formed although its sign, ‘XXII in gold on blue with a red edge’ was recorded in a Western Command letter to the War Office of 3rd July 1947 to be found in National Archives file WO32/18819.

Thanks Jon.
Doubt I'll get to see that file though. Stephen.
