Default Unusual Royal Artillery Cap Badge

Hello,

This arrived today a nice addition to my RA cap badge collection.

A Edwardian, Gilding Metal, Other Ranks regular RA cap badge.

Looks normal from the front but to the rear it has a pair of double blades.

I have seen these on RGA (Volunteers) white metal cap badges but never on a Regular RA gilding metal badge.

The early GM badges did have loops and I have had many of those, as well as the WM ones, but not had one of these before.

Has anyone else got one?

regards

I only have an Officers version. That is a nice find.

Nice Simon. It makes you wonder what form of ORs dress this would have been envisaged for, i.e., not designed to be removed from for cleaning.
