Default Flat Collar Motto

Hello Griff

Sorry completely disagree with your appraisal, its not a flat collar motto its just a standard issue anodised version of the period IMO.

I know guys who served with the Regiment back then and they assure me that these spurious flat collar Motto's were not worn, even as a private purchase they wouldn't get past muster.
