Default Malta Correctional (Prison) Service
From my recent trip to Malta

1st Image shows current Snr Officers beret badge and collar badge with Other ranks beret badge and collar badge.
2nd Image shows a selection of arm patches currently worn to include the Special Operations Group!
3rd Image..... I dont know the top badge but the lower shoulder title type badge relates to the year the service was formed in 1850.

Third image is Corradino Correctional Facility. The numbers as you have stated correctly, is the year of the "creation" of the Police Force in Malta. This particular badge is a fairly new one and I have to still get back to you as to rank or position. Joe is on it
