I have quite a few BRITISH LEGION badges made by this company. Some are marked JASON & JONES.

Phil, They are lapel badges.
Jason & Jones maked badges for the British Legion are the small size badge so date back quite some time('30s-'50s) way before "outsourcing" to China etc See link http://legion-memorabilia.org.uk/badges/small.htm

When I see these unfamiliar Makers Marks I always look at the sellers other wares and although I could be wrong, the majority (almost all) of their metal (non-A/A) cap badges appear to be common reproductions!!! I would put this one down to being a "Spurious" MM aand steer clear, unless you want it for reference?

Jones and Jason
I have been told in the past that this company made cap badges for a short time post WWII.
As engr9266 says, they made British Legion badges 1930's-50's so this could be correct. Rob |

Never come across them, before reading this thread. From the few Kelly's Birmingham Directories I have, they were listed as follows:
1945 edition: Jones & Jason, metal smallware mfrs, 6 Great King St., Birmingham 19. 1958 edition: Jones & Jason Ltd., stampers & piercers, 113 Northwood St., Birmingham 3; (regd. office) 93 Sandon Rd., Birmingham 17. 1961 edition: Jones & Jason not listed, but the occupant of 113 & 115 Northwood St. was Jason Plating Co., electro platers. (They were listed there in the 1958 edition also.) Rex |

White metal Cambridgeshire Regt
I have a white metal Cambridgeshire Regt cap badge with Jones and Jason on the slider according to K&K Vol II this was sealed in October 1952 and would fit in when this company were metal smallware mfrs.
