Hello BP, The 25 Inf Bde patch you show was technically not for the 25 Inf Bde. After the Korean deployment, the 25 Inf Bde patch was adopted as a Canadian nationality patch and was used on some other "overseas" deployments. Later issues of the patch had were made with the drill type material with the merrowed edge. The patch you show was used on these later deployments. Korean era patches are all melton embroidered signs without the heavy border.

I certainly was not stating that either badge was KW era ! It seems that there are actually two later types, including (a) the actual issued one, and (b) the KW vet's association badge. I'm not sure which is pictured.
