Another Patterned Back Mark
Hi Gents,
See attached another patterned back mark - any comments or thoughts on an association with a potential maker? Cheers, Roy

Hello Roy
This patterned backmark crops up quite a lot - 'Greek key pattern' I believe it is generally known as. So far as I am aware no one has suggested a link with any possible maker. Roger |

Hi Roger,
Thank you for that. Another one to keep an open mind on then. Cheers, Roy

Another one I have not been able to identify. My code name is 'hammer key'.
At least a third design exists. Roy, can you show us the front of your button? The 'greek key' is on both early 19th and mid 20th century buttons. |

Hi Gents,
Theres patterns certainly throw up some interest. I think with a little recording and a lot of luck we may be able to shed light on them at some point. Here is a full image of my example for reference. KSLI (post 1881). Cheers, Roy
