A bit of a bimble around the hills really . Nothing like SF selection,a lot get airborne qualified and use it as a stepping stone towards trying to get in the SAS. A lot of the guys stay for multiple tours forgoing promotion to stay at Hereford.

I presume not. The SBS beret is Lovat Green, so attached pax (RM, RN, RAF, Int Corps, RLC etc, have always worn that assuming they are commando qualified - and that includes the R Sigs guys in the Sig Sqn). I also presume the same applies with the SRR's emerald grey berets - it certainly does for REME, AGC etc...
