Default Canadian Airborne Silver Cufflinks.

Hi. Yes this are Silver I checked. I have seen many of the other types of cufflinks, round and with the Airborne Insignia on them. But I yet to come across ones like these, if any info would be appreciated thank you for your time.

Hi Recce, Items like this are very difficult to establish any provenance. They are often made up in batches at a particular point in time, and because they are private purchase, they are not officially documented or approved. Sometimes jewellers or badge makers would produce a batch for private sale, again without documentation. Basically, without a hallmarked maker, there is not much that can be done to establish the history.

Hello Mr Bill. My sentiments have been same, I believe these are made by a Jeweller. Instead of having the ones I always saw, I believe someone in the Airborne Regiment had them specially made.

The detail is impressive and that's what attracted me to them, They're probably one of a kind. Or few were made for one section or platoon of the Airborne.

I Posted them on the Thread to show and maybe someone from the Airborne Regiment Remembers, there`s always a story.

Thank you for your impute always appreciated.
