Thanks. If I had £100 it would be yours. I know a man who was after one of these just this morning. Hopefully he sees this and PMs you. I fear it may however still be bedtime down under.

It's not a cheap badge but as they are £200+ on dealers' sites and at least £150 plus fees plus postage at Bosleys then I don't want to give it awy. If there are no takers I will send it off to auction and see what it does.

It’s a bargain for sure and I’d love a back marked one. Paid £150 for mine and that was with a decent discount from the dealer. Am certain someone on here will snap your hands off very soon. Ad isn’t yet half hour old.

People are probably getting home from work and having their dinner before a log onto the forum.

Possibly a small consolation for those who missed the badge.

That’s a nice piece Jon, I’ve a few of these from the regiments I collect to , always makes me think of the lads that joined up as the posters look so inviting to join!!!

It's under the slider stamped on the back on the badge running vertically top to bottom. I have already wrapped it to post or I would take another photo.

How many versions were there? I thought there was a horizontal back marked one which may have had a white metal slider? Also the slider marked version? Regards, Paul.

2 versions - one with the name on the back and the second version with the name on the slider.

I have a w/m slider version and the one I sold to James is the same as the one sold at Bosley's auction yesterday with a brass slider.

The lugged ones are 1970's fakes.
