Frank, Luke
I have never seen (that I recall) a high occurrence of samples of the RDF Forage cap badge with brooch fittings, just the odd one and I do agree that a vertical (N / S) fitment would seem to make the most sense for a Pagri. John |

I would be interested to know if the hook/catch has been fashioned from it's original lug.

Very interesting badge. The original lug on one side has been retained, just cut to receive the pin from the replaced brooch. Never seen this before. Personally, I like it.

Thanks CB. It is really nice pin system conversion indeed.

Hello John,
I'd certainly be very keen to see an example at some in the future. Regards Frank |

Would you mind re-posting the pictures Phaethon please as attachments? They appear to have disappeared and were a useful reference especially with John’s excellent research contained herein.
