Default SAS Wings Downswet Wings 30 X 70mm.

Yet another pair of SAS Wings that I'd like identified please.
I have vague recollections of upswept or downswet wings being worn by certain Squadrons (downswept by 22nd SAS?) but can't remember the details.

23rd SAS. Hard to really say if pukka or not, I have a pair but can't say. They look a bit fluffy.

Thanks, this pair have been worn, possibly accounting for the fluffy look?

Default Downswept SAS wings

I have a set of these wings with letter of provenence from Charles Guthrie, of the Welsh Guards, who was a 22 SAS squadron commander 1968-70 and was later the CGS. Contrary to popular belief, this style was never confined to just 23 SAS but were issued throughout all three SAS regiments in the late 1960s/early 1970s.
