Default Para Wings Black on Red 25 X 55mm.

Another para wing question, which unit / units are or were wearing this type of wing please?
Possibly KRRC? 2nd King Edward VII's Own Gurkha Rifles?
They measure 25 X 55mm.

Thanks, I wasn't sure but thought that the downward sweep of the wings identified them, I can label them up properly now.

No problem, it's shown on that poster of trade badges for the army from the 1970s and in Edwards book I think but I've not got it handy.

It'd be on one of the colour plates showing the posters in
"British Army Proficiency Badges.
I keep the insignia in sealed sachets in loose leave transparent pages containing scans of the relevant pages of the book, I didn't see reference on the scanned page though I may not have copied all pages.

The poster in the book has it for 2nd King Edward VII's Own Gurkha Rifles.

Thank you - another one of those things that I knew but if I don't note it down or misplace what I write, time passes and........ it's gone.
