Can I get some help with this badge, please
This badge was in the possession of my late mother. It may have belonged to my father (served as submariner - possibly a communicator - on HMS Stygian about 1944-45 ish) or it may have belonged to a naval friend from later years (my mother lived in Portsmouth in the 60s/early 70s). Is it a trade insignia or something else? Is it obviously from a particular period? I realise I may have posted the photo upside down - sorry if it is! Any information about it would be appreciated.

Thanks, Paddy. Looks like it definitely wasn't my Dad's then! I appreciate your advice.
Cheers. Len |
