Default 32 (SCOTTISH) SIGNAL REGT (v)

FOR THOSE WHO KNOW THESE THINGS.

Two Questions for those in the above sector.

First. When did the Pipers of this Regt stop wearing the two nine inch feathers when wearing ceremonial uniforms. Just been looking at a Gallery of the Regt from 2006 visit to Colombia for summer camp. All the members of the corps of Pipes and Drums are wearing the three coloured Signals Hackle.

Two. When did the Corps of Pipes and Drums Glengarry badge change to one without the St Andrews Cross. In the same gallery SSGT (PM) Jones is weaing one in his Glengarry whilst giving lessons with out the Hackle. He is wearing one in his full No1 dress uniform in his Glengarry with a Hackle.

Delighted to have an answer please

Kind regards

Chris Walker
