Default Unknown 'slip on'

Chaps, presumably a training Troop or platoon.

Anyone know where from?

Possibly Army Foundation College Harrogate which has an Alamein Company.

Possibility from Army Cadets website ?
Quote:
This morning Cadets from East (El Alamein) Company's Bournemouth & Boscombe and Christchurch Detachments came together at local beauty spot - Hengisbury Head to undertake their Basic and 1* Navigation Assessments.

E (El Alamein) Company (The Rifles) has detachments in Bournemouth (Boscombe), Christchurch, Lytchett Matravers, Parkstone, Poole, Rossmore and Wallisdown.

Unlikely to be Army Cadet Force as regulations require that any slip ons include the letters "ACF" as an identifier

This is an RAF Regiment trainee slide, as worn by recruits at RAF Honington when Regt training was there.

There are others, El Alamein Flt, Salalah Flt, Casino Flt, Habbaniya Flt, Juno Flt, Capitals Flt and Meiktila Flt. They come in green and each flight had a different colour slide;

El Alamein - Yellow
Juno - Blue
Capitals - Red
Habbaniya - Black
Meiktila - Green
Cassino - Light Blue
Salalah - Tan

Hope this helps

Bill
