Default Royal Engineers Voulunteers

Could anyone tell me when the WM Royal Engineers badge (not Royal Engineers (Volunteers)) ceased to be worn?

Many thanks

Chris

Chris

W/M badges were worn by the TF from 1908-14 on their Blues. Once the war started the blues hats were not worn and the regular army provided brass badges as standard.
