Default Royal Munster Fusiliers badge opinions welcome

Hi
I suspect that this Royal Munster Fusiliers badge is a fake/restrike but I'm not 100% sure. Forum opinions welcome. Thanks.

This purports to be an "all GM" badge. Certainly 12,000 were made in 1916. Gaunt never stamped their name - certainly not on an "all GM" ! However, some maker's marks have been stamped on original badges (many many years latter) to enhance the value of the badge but in reality it, it ruins the original badge.

PS I meant that Gaunt didn't stamp their name on OR badges before and during the 1st WW.
Most of their officer badges were stamped ... but not all.
