This belt is unusual in that it has 5 Plastic Economy, and hard ones to find at that!

Not the prettiest of Trophy Belts! BUT, when you look at it, work out what it represents, (recuperating Wounded) then you have to ask, just how many of these exist? Would this not have been stripped off badges and discarded?
You can date it as WW2 for the Free Chech Forces badge Last edited by billy; 30-08-21 at 08:56 AM. |

A pity the Leeds Rifles Crown is missing, and the Strike on the West Riding Rgt. badge is pretty bad!

A nice belt, but it has holes in it which makes me wonder if there where other badges? Removed to sell? or just original badges moved about? Don't like to dwell on it!

Trophy belts
A nice collection of trophy belts, I saw one some forty years ago with an Essex and Suffolk Cyclists cap badge near the buckle, the guy who was wearing it was the brother of a man I worked with, when I asked him if he wanted to sell the belt he said that someone else wanted it.
I wonder why . . ! Rob |

The Army Dental Corps is certainly a later addition and not contemporaneous with the other WW1 badges.
