There is a field Officer at the front of the Squadron at the rear that has forage cap on ...that appears to be 21st Lancer "shade" Possibly in Ireland?

Default 21st

We spent a good hour last night so much to see foul weather covers as well as caps. The sgt at the front has some sort of armband. Swords look like 1898 patten theres another pic dated 1904 with the same sgt as rough rider

A fascinating photo....I do have to say they look rather un-British with those Czapkas; dare I say Hun-ish

Hi Griff
Third pic in The Officer was 21st went to Royal Flying Corps. It looks like he has bullion collar badges ?. That shot of the lance cap boss is a nasty repo.

Best Mac
