Here is a selection of aged cap, collar and shoulder titles dating from before the Great War and beyond mounted on an old Sam Browne belt.
Some interesting badges among these: A QVC East Surrey Regiment cap badge on a slider. The badge is poorly made with the star extending over the scroll, post-1906 and has been noted on the Forum as a QVC badge with slider.
A Liverpool Pals flat backed cap badge dating from 1915-1917.

“The solid back with loops is Pattern 8520/1915 authorised in autumn 1915. This was superseded by the badge with a slider which was authorised in May 1917 as Pattern 9483/1917. The badges were declared obsolete in August 1921”.

Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire post-1919 BM collar badge. 1st King’s Dragoon Guards GM collar badge pre-1915. Australian Rising Sun collar badge with makers mark - Arendson and Co., Melbourne, Victoria. Plus some assorted Corps collars and other cap badges.
I think the badge to the far right is indeed a collar “dog.”
